I went 1-1 in my last NBA Top Picks article bringing my total record to 4-1. I'm hoping to consistently provide readers with quality picks, so let's observe how I do for the whole season. There's a large slate of games tonight, so I've got 3 picks for you guys. Let's get started.

Milwaukee Bucks @ Brooklyn Nets Under 232.5
The Bucks will be without guard Jrue Holiday tonight, hindering the Bucks' offensive capabilities. They will also be without SF Pat Cannaughton and SG Grayson Allen, further hurting their chances to score. Even though both of these offenses are extremely capable, both in the top 10, the total is way too high considering the pieces missing for the Bucks. The Nets hit the under 63.2% of the time as a home team, and 66.7% as a favorite at Barclays. Take the under here.

Minnesota Timberwolves -6.0 @ Oklahoma City Thunder
The situation in Oklahoma City is not good at all. The own the 2nd worst scoring offense and FG% in the NBA. The Thunder haven't scored over 100 points in 4 games. They just do not have the offensive firepower to win, and expect that trend to continue. The T-Wolves are building up steam, hoping to win their 3rd straight game tonight. Their defense has been firm too, averaging 103.6 ppg. That's 5 points less than their season average. Minnesota also covers the spread 64.7% of the time when on the road. The last time these two met the Thunder covered, but that was with a rusty D'Angelo Russell who shot an ugly 25% from the field. Expect the Timberwolves to roll over the Thunder tonight.

Cleveland Cavaliers -6.0 @ Portland Trail Blazers
The Trail Blazers will give up a ton of points to the visiting Cavaliers, allowing an absurd 127.4 points per game in their last 5. They have only won 3 games in their past 10 contests. The Portland offense has been lackluster the whole season, and without star PG Damian Lillard tonight, it will be even harder on them. Portland will also be missing PF Larry Nance Jr. Cleveland owns the 2nd best scoring defense, and will have no problem containing this shorthanded and struggling Portland offense. The Cavs are the top team in covering as a favorite, sporting a 9-4-1 record. They cover 70.6% of the time as a road team. On the flip side, Portland is the worst team in covering as an underdog, only doing so an abysmal 21.4% of the time. Back the Cavs with confidence.
