Sorry this one is late today everybody. I wrote my MNF preview this morning, and business got in the way of allowing me to put this out early. Today’s NBA slate has a myriad of opportunities with 10 games going on today. Some games are going to be super entertaining, while some could afford being missed. Either way, there is some nice chances for you to cash in on the matchups today. Let’s get started.

Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid celebrates after scoring.
Philadelphia 76ers -13.0 vs Houston Rockets
The 19–16 76ers will host the plummeting 10–27 Houston Rockets tonight. The Rockets have not won since Dec. 18th and have lost by an average margin of 14.7 over their past 7 games. Houston just is not playing good basketball right now, and the situation with Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood makes things even harsher for the Rockets. Without Christian Wood tonight, they will be missing their leading scorer and rebounder. This absence at the 5 sets up star PF/C Joel Embiid for a feast. Embiid’s squad has gained momentum recently, winning their past 4 of 5 games. Joel himself has averaged an astonishing 35.3 points over his last three games, and F Tobias Harris has averaged 6.3 dimes and 8.3 boards over his last three. The 76ers rank 8th this season in points allowed and have stoutly gave up an average of just 101 points in the past 4 contests. They will have no problem dominating a Houston Rockets team with a couple of their main guys not even suiting up. Wager on the 76ers with confidence.

Memphis’ Ja Morant cutting to the rim.
Memphis Grizzlies +6.5 @ Brooklyn Nets
The Memphis Grizzlies have picked up steam as of late, winning their past 4 games. Young star PG Ja Morant has been killing it, averaging 34.6 pts and 6.6 rebounds in his last 3 games. This Memphis team owns the 7th best scoring offense in the league and should have no problem scoring against the Nets, who are giving up 112.6 points in their past 3, 5 points higher than their season average. Brooklyn owns a terrible 4–13–1 record ATS at home. They are also dead last in covering as a home favorite, only doing so 18.8% of the time. The Grizzlies however, cover 63.6% of the time as dogs on the road, and sport a sweet 11–5 ATS record on the road. Back the Grizz.

Atlanta PG Trae Young aims and fires a jump shot.
Atlanta Hawks @ Portland Trail Blazers Over 226
The Hawks and Trail Blazers both own disappointing records this season, but still rank in the top half for points scored in the NBA. Trae Young has been scoring 31 points on average in his past 4 while also dishing 10.25 dimes during that same period. The defense on both sides has been atrocious as of late, with the Hawks allowing an average of 126.3 points in their last 3 games and the Blazers giving up on average an insane 130.3 points in their previous 3. Even with Dame sitting out tonight, the amount of points given up by the Hawks will allow for buckets to fall in the home team’s favor. Take the over.
Conclusion
